Signal source mode:
First line left frequency (0.5-470M), right output power (-90 - - 131dBm)
The second line of left sub-audio (50.0-280.0Hz arbitrary analog sub-tone and 105 sets of digital sub-tone) right modulated tone (1-3K) right lower corner shows input power.

Digital sub-tone settings: Input 3-digit digital sub-tone and press F3 023 to input 0, 2, 3 and then press F3 to set up successfully. Press F2 to switch between I and N of digital sub-tone, and adjust the up and down keys to add and subtract in 105 groups of digital sub-tones.
The value input 0 of the modulation and subsonic is equivalent to the closure.
Step Frequency Settings: When the cursor points to the frequency, the step frequency is saved according to the frequency currently displayed in F3.
Cymometer mode:
First line left frequency, right measurement mode AUTO / MANUA (for simultaneous measurement of intercom or repeater transmissions, select AUTO mode)
Second line left sub-audio right frequency resolution (1K/0.1K) (in order to test the frequency drift of radio or repeater transmission frequency, 0.1k can be selected to be more accurate) lower right corner display input power

F4 key: When measuring mode switching AUTO / MANUA AUTO, the stable frequency is detected, then the subsonic is automatically locked and detected, and the result is displayed until the signal disappears. After the signal disappears, the new stable frequency is detected again. (You can test the standard and non-standard analog sub-tones emitted by the radio by yourself. If the radio emits digital sub-tones, only the standard digital sub-tones can be detected, but the non-standard digital sub-tones can not be detected.)
In MANUA, the update frequency is detected in real time for the conventional frequency meter.

According to the calibration of HP8921A radio comprehensive tester:
1. Frequency accuracy within 50 Hz
2. The output signal intensity of v-segment is equivalent to HP8921A.
3. The output signal intensity of U segment is 4 DBM larger than that of HP8921A (when weak signal is output, for example, when the instrument shows - 125 dbm, the actual value is - 121 dbm), and when strong signal is output, it is the same as that of HP8921A (for example, when - 90 DBM or so).
4. The audio modulation degree of the signal output is 3K.
5. Subtone Modulation in Signal Output is 0.5K
6. The minimum power input required for the function of the frequency meter is 1MW (external antenna, 1W intercom can be measured at short range)
7. The power meter is equal to HP8921A when it is over 0.2w. When it is less than 0.2w, the display value is about 20% larger than the actual value (estimated to be the reason for rounding 4 to 5 rounds).
8. When the test power exceeds 5w, please shorten the test time properly to avoid long-term high-power test, because the heat sink inside is limited and overheating is avoided. If it really needs long-term high-power test, please increase the radiator area and add fans to compel heat dissipation.
9. If no signal output is found in the small synthetic survey, it can be input in the mode of signal source: 001.0000 to see whether 498M and 499M frequencies have signals with the spectrum.
